One of the most prolific composers in Mexican rock music, Clemente Castillo releases "Sonsonete", the first single from his second solo album Serpentina, to be released on San Saba Records in 2019. Serpentina is the follow up to 2016's Eureka, which found the Monterey, Mexico native Castillo branching out from his band Jumbo and going solo, exploring new sonic territory while staying true to his regiomontano roots. Eureka included Castillo's version of "Calaveras y diablitos", made popular by Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, and the single topped the Viral Chart on Spotify in Argentina, Chile, and Mexico. Castillo has won an MTV Award, and has been nominated for a Latin Grammy, and San Saba Records (an affiliate of Austin, TX's Super Secret Records) is excited to present "Sonsonete" as a warm up to Serpentina!
